Food & Beverage
We are currently seeking talented and motivated individual’s to work on a full or part time basis in our Cerise Restaurant at the Roseate Reading. You will ensure that high standards are maintained at all times, and that all tasks are undertaken, including all food and beverage services to our restaurant and private dining rooms.
The successful candidate will be warm with guests and clients and able to work within the team, even in the most demanding of circumstances.
Dealing at the top-end you will be used to demanding and high profile clients who demand the best in friendly and professional service.
You will have:

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role
  • A professional but relaxed approach
  • A good knowledge of food and wine

You will always ensure great service, great food and be able to create a great environment for your colleagues and guests.

 

Room Attendant
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to work on a full-time basis at The Roseate Reading 5* luxury Boutique Hotel in Reading. When it comes to customer service, creating a truly welcoming environment and combining this with superb facilities for our guests whether traveling for business or leisure.

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining all areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. You will perform several housekeeping tasks including, cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms which involves, but is not limited to, making the beds, dusting the room and furniture, washing cups and glasses, replenishing guest room and bathroom supplies, vacuuming carpets; cleaning public areas, meeting rooms and back of house areas and completing any other reasonable tasks as requested by the housekeeping supervisor and manager

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Preparing luxurious bedrooms
  • Assisting guests
  • Assisting with other Housekeeping duties

Key skills:

  • Previous experience as Hotel Receptionist 4*- 5* is essential
  • Flexible and able to work various shifts/days, as per the rota and hotel business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Team worker
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to display customer and colleague care
  • Organization skills and ability to work on own initiative

Reception Supervisor/Duty Manager

We are currently seeking a talented and motivated individual to work on a full-time basis as a Reception Supervisor/Duty Manager at The Roseate Reading. When it comes to customer service, creating a truly welcoming environment and combining this with superb facilities for our guests whether travelling on business or leisure.

The Reception Supervisor/Duty Manager is responsible that on all occasions guests are completely satisfied with their stay and that the service they receive meets or exceeds their expectations. The delivery of outstanding customer service to all guests is paramount to every task they complete.

Your key responsibilities will be:
• Provide a constant customer service at the front desk
• Check-in and check-out of guests
• Answering telephone and email enquiries
• Providing guest of information on the local area
• Deal with customer comments in an efficient and professional manner
• Assist guest with luggage
• Maximising sales
• The Duty Manager will be expected to take responsibility for the day to day running of the Department in the absence of the Manager.

Key skills:
• Previous experience as Receptionist is essential in hotel environment
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Friendly, enthusiastic approach
• Proactive approach to service
• Good industry awareness and ability to implement new standards
